Q: Do I get to choose the images that go into my album?
As a creative, I prefer to make selections on photos that I think look best together. However, if you are really picky about what goes into your album, I'll ask you to utilize the "Favorite" tool in your online gallery so I can access what images you prefer to have. I will do my best to stick to just those images.
Q: Can I make changes once I receive the album proof?
Yes! You will have access to your album's online proofing, which allows you to leave comments for me. You are limited to three proofing sessions, as to not draw out the design process. Any changes requested beyond a fourth proof will be $45/ea.
Q: Will the album encompass my entire day or just a specific part?
Typically, I like to cover the entire day! Start to finish, I'll have at least one spread of every major event. However, if you prefer to focus just on a certain event (i.e. ceremony, reception, portraits), I can do that, too! Just let me know what you'd like. Ideally, the board pages are intended to cover less of the entire day and focus on just one portion of the day.
Q: What's the difference in page types?
The thin paper pages are similar to what you'd get in a standard book - flexible and lightweight. The thicker board pages are about 1/8" thick. They are much more durable and strong, and in my opinion will stand up best to decades of sharing with friends and family! Ideally, the board pages are intended to cover less of the entire day and focus on just one portion of the day. The paper pages are encouraged for "all day" coverage.
Q: When can I expect to receive my album?
Once you have made your decisions about page type, album cover, number of pages and image selection, I'll begin designing your album! This could take 1-2 weeks. In that time, I'll send you up to 3 proofs on which you may make changes to. This includes swapping out images or selecting a different image layout. Once you have approved for print, lead time is about 3 weeks until it's at your door (may be longer around the holidays).
Q: If I made upgrades to my album, how do I pay for those?
You will be invoiced online for the upgrades, and you're welcome to pay online or write a check.
