Caitlin and Jamie's wedding day was filled with family, love, popcorn, lots of color, and most importantly Jesus. When I arrived at the venue, Caitlin was all smiles. Her big, ruffly dress was hanging on the wall, being gazed upon by her flower girls. Jamie was ecstatic. Him and the other groomsmen were in the groom's suite playing pool and goofing around, enjoying the last few hours of Jamie's single life together.
Just before the ceremony, Jamie and Caitlin opted for a prayer together, without seeing each other. They took a moment to praise their Savior, who instrumentally brought the two of them together, because the two of them together will further the kingdom more than they ever could separately; the beauty of a godly marriage.
As the black clouds began to roll in, we worried we wouldn't be able to get pictures outside. The ceremony was short and sweet and Pastor Keith took a moment to share the gospel with all of the wedding guests. Vows, the first kiss and one "I now pronounce you husband and wife" later, Caitlin and Jamie were headed back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Jamie and Caitlin Wood. In the same moment, the rain stopped and the skies cleared, allowing us to go outside for pictures!
The rest of the night, everyone partied away. Among the guests were Ohio State football players (Jamie played for Ohio State) and some kids who could seriously whip and nae-nae.
