I've known Travis since I was seven years old. His mom began giving me horseback riding lessons at their home, and I quickly became best friends with his little sister, Lizzy. Travis was like the big brother I never had. He antagonized me and made fun of me, but he also protected me like any good big brother would. Travis met Becky several years ago. They worked together at a gym and instantly hit it off, becoming best friends right away. They got to know each others' families and spent a lot of time together. They dated for a bit before deciding being friends was better. Later on, the sparks just didn't simmer I guess and they got back together and quickly picked up their lives and moved to Nashville, TN. There they have created a life together. They enjoy the country scene and the great outdoors, along with their two dogs.

These two had a whirlwind romance, so it only made sense to follow that with a whirlwind engagement and wedding. After dating for several years, Travis proposed while at the CMA Fest in Nashville in June. Originally they wanted a spring wedding, but while venue shopping, they found their dream venue, Camp Mary Orton, and learned there had been a recent cancellation and a date in October had become available. They immediately jumped on it, and quickly planned a wedding in less than four months. As Becky describes it, everything came together perfectly and their day was exactly what they imagined. With plenty of personal touches, the day presented a rustic and country feel, a little glam with pops of purple and magenta, and the most to-die-for first look I've ever photographed!

First and foremost, thank you so much for allowing me the privilege of capturing your special day. Knowing Travis for as long as I have, I've seen him in his ups and downs, his successes and failures, his happiness and heartbreaks. The two of you together work, and I mean that in a way that all couples should take note. You guys are each others' best friend. You find encouragement, peace, thrill, and security in each other. Becky, the way he looks at you can make a heart stop. I love you both so much and cannot wait to see what adventures you take on together in the years to come.

I'll be IN hers in September! I love you, Wisma family. Thank you for always treating me like one of your own. <3
