Lizzy and I go way back. Like way, way back. She is the friend who has been around the longest and we grew up bonding over our love of horseback riding. Through different schools, different colleges, several moves and now different states, we have managed to remain the best of friends. So when she asked me to photograph her wedding, it was a no-brainer, considering I had captured her and her now-husband's relationship since day one, AND all THREE of her siblings' weddings. Man, am I blessed.
Their wedding day was absolutely perfect. We had beautiful weather (although 92 degrees in September was a little much for me), a beautiful couple surrounded by their closest friends and family. Between the fall colors, odes to America in their details and rustic decor, their wedding was classic, timeless and tasteful. It was made even better because this couple is the Midwest's version of Chip and Joanna Gaines. Ross can make Lizzy laugh at the drop of a hat, and Lizzy's hometown, homegrown background gives her a particular glow.
Lizzy and Ross, thank you for trusting me to capture another big milestone in your lives together! It was truly a pleasure and I hope you cherish these images for years to come.
Big thanks to the vendors who made this happen!
