The entire week leading up to Kayla and JD's wedding for ominous and gross. Rain, rain, rain all week. I was stalking the weather the entire 24 hours before the wedding. At about 11 pm the night before, the rain still showed about 70-100% chance of rain for every hour of the day, especially the hours we had planned for pictures outside... of course.
The closer we got to the wedding, the more the chances of rain dropped in the forecast. It was still showing about 30-40% chance all day, but somehow we managed to skate by with just about 10 minutes of rain during portraits. We were SO lucky to have the weather we did, other than the humidity.
If there is an award for sweetest groom, I think JD wins it. He is naturally a pretty happy guy, but on this day specifically he just couldn't stop smiling. It was so wonderful to see him so happy with Kayla, and vice versa! I've known JD since high school and actually remember when he told me when he met Kayla. You could just tell by the way that he talked about her that she was special from the beginning.
Congratulations you two! Thanks so much for choosing me to capture your special day. I had so much fun exploring Norwalk and getting to meet your closest friends and family. I hope you cherish these images forever.
A big thanks to all of the vendors who made this possible!
